Daran Dauble

Daran Dauble graduated from Willamette University in 1968. He began his work in the golf business at Progress Downs in 1975. He started there as a first assistant and was quickly promoted to assistant manager.

After working over a summer at Rose City, Daran moved on to Glendoveer Golf Course in the Fall of 1978 as Director of Instruction. it was at this time that he founded Golf Doctors, Inc., a company specializing in vacation golf schools and corporate outings.

In 1987 Daran became head golf professional at Glendoveer, and was promoted to Director of Golf in 1992.

In 1991 he was named Teacher of the Year for Oregon and Southwest Washington by his fellow professionals.

He has been a certified Club Fitter for over 20 years and has worked with the Special Olympics for over 18 years.

He has 34 years of experience in private lessons, group classes and clinics. A number of his students have received college scholarships and 5 have become golf professionals.

Daran also started the Glendoveer Junior Program in 1980 and grew it into one of the most successful in the area.
